Marie lived to celebrate her 103rd birthday and witnessed amazing change and history. She grew up during the Depression, worked in one of the world’s largest hangars where planes were being built during World War II, and later moved to Florida where she could watch distant space launches from outside her home. She was a loving mother, active in the PTA, always engaged and supportive. For most of her working life, she was a secretary, serving as executive secretary to two millionaire businessmen before retiring at age 81 to move to Nevada with her daughter Tori. Marie was a vibrant spirit who loved to have fun. She spent time as a Red Hat Lady. She enjoyed traveling, trying new restaurants, baseball and being with all kinds of people. Her faith was her anchor and she said not worrying is the key to a long life. She put her trust in God our Father and is home with Him now and forever.
